Kilinga Bacanora Silvestre is a joven agave spirit from Sonora. This lote presents light cream, chlorine, grass, soft airy florals, and mint on the nose. The palate delivers herbal notes, lemongrass, sweet potato, orange oils, and soapy lavender on the finish. At forty percent abv, it remains aromatic with moderate complexity. The profile offers a unique character distinct from other regional expressions. It provides a sugarcane rum-like impression while maintaining its own identity as a wild-harvested bacanora. The flavors hold decent presence without overwhelming the senses.

About the Brand
Kilinga Bacanora is a family-owned brand that was established in 2018 by Rodrigo Bojorquez Bours in Alamos, Sonora, Mexico. Rodrigo had tried many Bacanoras, but they mostly left him unimpressed and uninspired. However, he fell in love with this regionally-celebrated spirit after tasting a Bacanora made by a Sonoran friend; it was unlike anything else he had tasted. That experience inspired Rodrigo. He set out to craft a Bacanora of his own, one reflective of the unique Sonora terroir and artisan methods.
