La Tersa Anejo
La Tersa Añejo is a Raicilla aged in oak. Raicilla is an agave spirit from Jalisco protected by a Mexican denomination of origin since 2019. It is produced in the Sierra and Costa of Jalisco, plus part of Nayarit. The spirit uses various agave species including Agave maximiliana and Agave inaequidens. Añejo means aged, requiring at least one year in oak barrels. Longer wood contact gives deeper color and more barrel character than a reposado. This label sits within that defined category of aged agave spirits from Jalisco.
