Los Abuelos Reposado
Los Abuelos Reposado is a tequila aged in bourbon barrels. This Jalisco spirit uses Tequilana agave from Los Valles under NOM 1493. Stone oven cooking and tahona milling shape its profile. Copper pot distillation yields notes of cooked agave, vanilla, and citrus. Black pepper and brown sugar emerge on the palate with a buttery texture. The finish remains long, smooth, and earthy while retaining natural sweetness from the wood. Deep well water supports this 40% abv expression distilled twice in copper stills for clarity.
