Lost Lore Reposado Amburana is a 53% abv tequila from Jalisco’s Los Altos Southern region, produced under NOM 1414. This expression ages in Amburana barrels to impart dominant cinnamon and baking spice notes. The nose reveals vanilla, apple, maple syrup, and cooked agave aromas from Tequilana agave. Heavy cinnamon and nutmeg lead to a creamy palate with underlying roasted agave character. The finish offers peppery heat and a slightly bitter, sweet closure that highlights the wood’s influence on this unique spirit.
