Sweet notes of pineapple are perceived and a sweetness reminiscent of caramel. Acidic flavors predominate, accompanied by a subtle sweetness. The alcoholic sensation is medium-low. Luminar Mezcal
About the Brand
Luminar Mezcal uses select agaves grown in the Bajio and on the mountain tops in the state of Zacatecas. According to the brand, 254 farming families in Zacatecas have nurtured their agaves for years bring the world this mezcal. Luminar is exclusively available at Total Wine & More in the United States as part of their Spirits Direct program. The program allows wholesalers to clear spirits for reduced margins enabling Total Wine to sell spirits from smaller producers more profitably. It should be noted that Luminar Mezcal is likely Kimo Sabe mezcal with a different label. Kimo Sabe filed for the trademark for Luminar Mezcal (source). Both brands also share the same NOM (Norma Oficial Mexicana) which is registered with the Mexican government.
