Luneta Cuishe + Tobala + Tepeztate + Espadin, Berta Vasquez is a Lucero Ensamble Destilado de Agave from San Baltazar Chichicapam, Oaxaca. This blend uses Angustifolia, Karwinskii, Marmorata, and Potatorum agaves milled in a tahona. Berta Vasquez distills the spirit in copper stills to 47.7% ABV. The nose offers peanuts, black pepper, bacon, tobacco, hay fields, and cake frosting. Bright citrus leads to minty and roasted nutty flavors with a floral heat finish that lingers pleasantly on the palate. The profile remains distinct and unembellished throughout the drinking session.

The aftertaste shows an average persistence, dominated by citrus notes and fruity. Notes of pineapple, orange and lime are perceived.
