Luneta Tobala, Angelica Garcia Vazquez is a Joven Destilado de Agave from Lucero. This spirit uses Potatorum agave grown in San Baltazar Chichicapam, Oaxaca. Angelica Garcia Vazquez mills the hearts in a tahona before copper distillation. The bottle holds 49.2 percent alcohol by volume for a crisp pour. A very lactic nose offers sweet notes with subtle sourness on the palate. Creamy sweetness meets mild acidity while medium viscosity thins out quickly. Heavy smoke arrives in the finish with burnt cheddar and charred creme brulee. The profile remains distinct yet disjointed without retaining thickness or heat.
