Miel de Tierra Anejo
Miel de Tierra Anejo is a mezcal aged to develop distinct vanilla and honey notes. The nose offers sweet aromas reminiscent of bourbon, while the palate presents a smooth, sweet profile with warm honey and smoked pineapple. This spirit lacks fruit character but delivers a lingering sweetness. When served over ice, the flavor profile shifts to include macadamia nut and coconut cream alongside vanilla. It stands as a versatile option for those who prefer sweeter, smoother agave spirits without heavy smoke. The transformation on the rocks highlights its complex layering and approachable nature for sipping neat or diluted.

About the Brand
Miel de Tierra means Earth’s Honey, and the name comes from the sweet, amber-flushed tree sap, which can only be found in virgin barrels made of fresh natural oak timber. Given the name, Miel de Tierra has a robust barrel-aging program and they also have several unaged releases. Their location in southern Zacatecas makes them a fairly unique brand internationally.
