Ocho Tequila Reposado presents cooked blue agave as the primary aromatic driver, layered with cinnamon, black pepper, and citrus peel. The palate balances sweet caramel, vanilla, and honey against earthy minerality and oak spice. Notes of chocolate, mint, and dried fruit emerge alongside gentle heat that fades into a lingering finish. Barrel influence remains restrained, allowing the vegetal character and peppery snap to dominate rather than masking the spirit’s natural profile with heavy wood tones, creating a clean and straightforward expression of this specific agave variety.
