Patrón Añejo is a tequila aged in oak barrels. This Jalisco spirit from NOM 1492 uses Tequilana agave. It presents notes of cooked agave, vanilla, and caramel alongside barrel spice and black pepper. The palate offers honey, oak, and a distinct whiskey-like character with a dry finish. While agave remains present, the profile leans heavily on wood influence and sweetness. Deep well water from Ciénega supports this consistent production standard. French, American, Hungarian, and custom hybrid barrels shape its complex profile. The spirit balances sweet vanilla with dry bitterness for a memorable sip.
