Tepozan Añejo is a tequila from Jalisco aged in American White Oak. Produced by NOM 1584, this spirit uses Tequilana agave cooked in stone ovens. The profile features bold oak and vanilla notes that often overshadow the agave character. Cooked agave, caramel, and spice appear alongside distinct whiskey-like traits on the palate. Astringency and mineral undertones provide structure while cinnamon adds warmth to the finish. Deep well water supports fermentation in stainless steel tanks before double distillation in pot stills. Used barrels impart subtle cherry and cocoa hints that balance the heavy wood influence.
