Tequila II 55 Añejo is a Jalisco tequila from the Ciénega region, bearing NOM 1534. It uses Tequilana agave processed via acid-thermal hydrolysis and diffuser milling. The spirit ferments in stainless steel tanks without fibers before double distillation in pot stills. Deep well water supports this production method. The aroma highlights vanilla and caramel, with subtle agave presence. Oak character dominates both nose and flavor profile on the palate. Upfront caramel sweetness meets baking spice and black pepper heat. Evident tannins provide structure without excessive sweetness. A distinct spicy finish lingers on the tongue for an extended period.
