Tres Sietes Añejo

Tres Sietes Añejo

Tres Sietes Añejo is a Jalisco tequila from NOM 1534. It uses Tequilana agave in Ciénega. Acid-thermal hydrolysis cooks the hearts. A diffuser mills the fibrous material. Stainless steel tanks hold fermentation. Three distillations in pot stills follow. The result is a 40% abv spirit. Notes of antiseptic single malt scotch appear. Syrupy grenadine sweetness lingers on the palate. This profile is somewhat one-dimensional yet pleasing. The distiller process omits classic roastiness. It stands up well in mixed drinks. The straightforward profile prioritizes mixability over aging. It remains approachable despite its simple nature.
