Volcan de Mi Tierra Añejo is a tequila aged in wood. Jalisco’s Los Valles region provides the Terroir for this NOM 1523 spirit. Tequilana agave hearts undergo stone cooking before roller mill extraction. Fermentation occurs in stainless steel tanks using natural spring water. Copper pot distillation happens twice to refine the clear liquid. American White Oak and used whisky barrels define its character. Barrel influence dominates the profile, resembling scotch more than traditional tequila. The heavy oak presence creates a unique sensory identity for mature palates. This divergence from expected agave notes remains distinct within the category.

Aromatic profile with a combination of citrus, fruity, herbal and sweet notes. Aromas of pineapple, tangerine and grapefruit stand out, accompanied by apple yellow, mint and cinnamon, along with a sweet caramel note. The intensity aromatic is average, as is the alcoholic sensation.
