Xoloitzcuintle Black Dog Extra Añejo is a tequila aged in French oak barrels. The profile features deep roasted agave, soft caramel, and rich oak undertones. Subtle notes of dark chocolate and cherry emerge alongside cinnamon graham cracker aromas. This expression maintains a bold body while drinking smoothly at high proof. The French oak influence shines distinctly against American barrel alternatives. Only four hundred bottles were produced. This limited release highlights the potential of authentic extra añejo production with a complex, layered finish that rewards careful sipping.
