Banhez Cuishe
Banhez Cuishe is a joven mezcal made from agave karwinskii. This expression presents bold tropical fruit notes like guava and papaya alongside jasmine and herbal elements. Distillation in September 2018 yields a profile with sweet honey on the retro nasal and a pleasing peppery tingle. The finish balances bitter herbs, pine, and cinnamon with moderate smoke intensity. Floral aromas of lime peel and iron appear in some lots, while others highlight mint and vanilla bean. The mouthfeel is oily yet smooth, offering a harmonious blend of sweet citrus and earthy minerality without overwhelming heat.
