Exiliado Coyote
Exiliado Coyote is a Joven mezcal from Oaxaca. Artemio Garcia Cruz produces this spirit in San Dionisio Ocotepec using Lyoba agave. The producer mills the hearts in a tahona before double distilling them in copper stills. This bottling holds 48.7% alcohol by volume and remains unaged after distillation. The result is a clear expression that highlights the specific terroir of its origin and showcases the unique character of the Lyoba variety. The copper stills contribute to a distinct profile that differs from other regional styles while maintaining the integrity of the traditional production methods used by this skilled mezcalero.

About the Brand
Mezcal Exiliado is sustainably produced by Artemio García, using traditional methods he learned from his father, maestro mezcalero Margarito García, a legendary producer. The carefully selected agave hearts are wood fired over volcanic rock, stone ground, fermented in pine barrels, and distilled twice in copper at a small palenque in San Dionisio Ocotepec, Oaxaca.
