Gran Imperio Herradura Reposado is a limited edition tequila from the Herradura brand in Jalisco. This 38% abv spirit features Tequilana agave cooked in stone ovens and milled by roller mill. Fermentation occurs in stainless steel tanks without fibers, followed by double distillation in pot stills. The yellow liquid offers aromas of sweet cooked agave, light citrus, and earthiness. Palate notes include a balanced interplay of sweet and sour tones with creamy wood characteristics. A medium to long finish leaves lingering impressions of vanilla and cooked agave for local enthusiasts.
