Herradura Blanco 46

Herradura Blanco 46

Herradura Blanco 46 is a high-proof tequila from Jalisco. This NOM 1119 spirit uses Tequilana agave in Los Valles. Stone ovens cook the piñas before roller mill milling. Open-air fermentation occurs in stainless steel tanks without fibers. Two distillations in pot stills with copper coils follow. Raw agave notes blend with black pepper and mint. Green grass and vegetal undertones provide structure here. Mineral and lactic elements add distinct complexity to the profile. Soft, oily mouthfeel contrasts with a protracted sweet finish. Bold peppery presence remains distinct without excessive ethanol burn.
