Lucy Pistolas Joven is a mezcal from Guanajuato. Producer Pedro Valdes uses Salmiana agave aged ten to twelve years. Milling occurs in a tahona stone while distillation happens in copper stills. The spirit contains forty percent alcohol by volume. Bell pepper and jalapeno define the aromatic profile. Funky parmesan cheese notes appear alongside fresh florals. Raspberry and cream mingle with sweet vegetal tones on the palate. Green peppercorn adds spice alongside serrano-like heat. A light yet velvety body supports this distinct structure. Jalapeno stuffed green olives conclude the finish. This balance suits daily consumption for enthusiasts.
