Buen Camino Espadin
Buen Camino Espadin is a joven mezcal from San Dionisio Ocotepec, Oaxaca. Pablo Santiago Méndez produces this spirit using Angustifolia agave aged seven to eight years. Milling occurs in a tahona stone before copper distillation yields the final spirit. The nose offers roasted agave with light smoke and lime notes. Pineapple flavors round out the palate alongside a nice mouth feel. Heat from the forty eight percent alcohol content remains noticeable throughout the finish. This label serves as a distinct sipper for young agave enthusiasts without heavy aging influence.
