Gusto Historico Bicuixe, Vazquez is a Joven Destilado de Agave from Miahuatlan. Juan Vázquez produces this spirit using Karwinskii agave milled in a tahona and distilled in copper. The 45.9% ABV liquid presents aromas of vanilla, caramel, and tart green apples alongside cocoa and almonds. Sweet agave nectar on the palate yields to briny finishes with subtle lactic tones and earthy dustiness. Bright fruit notes of pineapple, pear, and cherries balance the savory minerality in the smoldering finish. This expression captures the delicate nature of bicuixe while maintaining a distinctive character that reflects its specific origin and production methods.
